Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms if signing up on its behalf.

2. Account & organization structure

Each organization has one or more Admins, who manage billing, team membership, and organization settings. Roles (Admin, Approver, Proposer) determine what actions a user can perform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscription plans & billing

The Service is offered on a freemium model: a free trial period (currently 30 days, capped at 2 seats) followed by paid subscription tiers priced per seat. After the trial period ends without payment, your organization's account becomes read-only until you upgrade.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, via Razorpay. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription.

Refund policy: All subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation stops future billing, and you retain full access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. No partial or pro-rated refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to circumvent access controls or role-based restrictions, reverse-engineer or resell the Service without authorization, or upload malicious content that infringes on third-party rights.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the ADRs, Tech Stack entries, and other content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you and your organization.

6. Data immutability & audit trail

Certain records, once accepted (e.g., Accepted ADRs), become immutable by design and can only be superseded, not edited or deleted, as part of the Service's governance functionality. You acknowledge and agree to this behavior as a core feature of the product.

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Rivanta Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
